ABSTRACT
Design Influence in E-Engineering E-Engineering is more than a buzz word: it is reality for automotive companies which want to stay competitive. It is getting more and more important to hit the consumers’ needs, requirements and design trends. The automotive industry is determined not only by functional varieties, compelling design is also more than ever a critical competition factor and a perfect means to influence a company’s image, which is the decisive factor for decision making of buyers. For companies to be successful it is crucial to master the challenges. Constant reviewing of their processes and implementing advanced methods is necessary. From a vendor perspective, advanced research and permanent innovation are essential. How ICEM examines the current status and can support customers in coping with these challenges will be described in this paper.
