ABSTRACT

The paper presents the results of noise measurements in two points inside the passengers’ compartment of the Dacia Solenza vehicle. This was made at different values of engine speed. After the spectral analysis, by applying the Fast Fourier Transformation, the following are to be found: amplitude, sound pressure level and spectral power density. The aim of this research was to evaluate the acoustic comfort at three different values for engine speed: 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm. In this paper there will only be presented measurements on interior noise thus being evaluated the inside acoustic comfort for the passengers.
