ABSTRACT:
The need to reduce fuel’s global consumption and also to reduce traffic congestions determined the development of a small vehicles segment, automotive manufacturers according a great attention to this type of vehicles. This paper presents a light vehicle model, a concept which belongs to the mini vehicles segment. The vehicle is a three-wheeler, with three seats - one in front for the driver, two seats in the back for the passengers and it has a compartment designated for light baggage. This vehicle it has a back well drive and the front wheels are for steering. This project was made using exclusively 3D modeling software: Solid Works 2003. Using this tool, I succeeded to have a good control of the vehicle’s shape and car aspect and I also took care of the interior space ergonomics and the steering system functionality.
