ABSTRACT
The investigation programme carried on further in order to establish the defects causes observed the exploitation of the propelling system at some transportation vehicles in Constanta area, led to an analysis of the interaction of the cooling liquid used with the cylinder jacket with reference to their behaviour towards corrosion and cavitation.
