ABSTRACT:
In the food industry it is used a big quantity of oil, that once burned it can not be used, beeing considerd a toxic waste. The toxic waste of this kind are a real source of pollution of the environment, hard to eliminate it is considerd that should be recicled.
Taking into acount that this fuel has similar properties with the clasical diesel fuel, the idea of using this waste as fuel for the diesel engine appeard.
In this paper, based on experimental results is beeing made a study over the performance parameters and fuel consumtion of the D118 engine that uses this new kind of fuel based on burned oil from food industry.
