ABSTRACT:

In the paper are presented the experimental results of the tests developed for acoustic equipment designed by the author in order to improve the intake air parameters. Using a two cylinder Diesel engine with direct injection, the experimental stand and the test procedure is presents in the first part of the paper.

The test results and the conclusions show the efficiency of the designed equipment called by the author "air kinetic accelerator".

The efficiency denote on increasing of the energetic engine parameters with an important exhaust smoke decrease and significant engine noise and vibration reduction.
