Abstract
ABSTRACT:
The vehicles and self driven cars equipped with diesel engines have 3 to 5 heat exchangers, such as: radiator, oil cooler (i.e. engine oil and/or transmission oil), charge air coolers, condensers, evaporators, etc.
These exchangers built separately fill a relatively large space with many circuits. There
is the tendency gather these exchangers in compact constructions, using a single coolant usually water or environmental air.
This paper presents the research that led to some new compact constructive solution for those heat exchangers. They were designed and built at RAAL Bistrita, and already delivered to some well-known companies in Europe, including Renault, for agricultural vehicles.
