Abstract

Within the framework of Geneva Agreement the development of new series of amendments to the International European Standard of ECE Regulation No 29 concerning the test procedure and requirements for truck cabs with regard to their impact strength to provide protection for the driver and passengers in an event of collision and roll over has been carried out. Working in collaboration, FSUE NICIAMT and Minsk Automotive Factory have performed a number of tests aiming at improving on the existing requirements of ECE Regulation No 29.
