Abstract
This paper shortly presents the main characteristics that have to be considered in the case of adapting an existing ATV equipped with IC engine to a hybrid one. This is the results of the authors team work. The hybrid uses a parallel traction and the paper is focused on the design of the mechanical device which summarizes both power sources.
