Abstract

The application of the deformation coefficients model using a small number of points for measuring the deformation questions, evidently, the accuracy of the results. In practice is usually used a number of 3, 4 or 6 points. The paper proposes a generalization of the model for a finite number of points. A deformation function was determined based on a interpolation function algorithm on exact data, defined on a discrete lot of points, using spline function method. The method is advantageous in terms of simplicity, the spline – function used being III-rd grade polynomial, on portions. In the paper was developed the analytical expression of deformation function and also the generalized formula of K coefficients, for the deformation energy and the average deformation. To validate the model, the calculus program elaborated on the basis of this algorithm was calibrated on a numerical example from the specific literature.
