Abstract
In this paper are presented the results of the investigation of conversion acoustic energy potential compared with other energy source and techniques and devices developed in the world for acoustic energy conversion into electricity. Starting from the basic relationship of evaluation of the energy potential of the acoustic waves has been examined different ways of specific research of energy conversion. Conclusions drawn from the analysis can be summarized as: the energy potential of acoustic energy is proved, but the conversion of acoustic energy into other forms of energy is located within the low and medium power. However, since noise is a continuous energy waste in the environment, attention paid for its transformation into other forms of energy is one way of reducing pollution.
