Abstract
This paper aims to study methods used for determining the effectiveness and status of the car brakes. Thereby, the results of a study on the rate of service interventions in the braking system for four types of automobiles are presented, provided that service records of two specialized units were analyzed (for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011).
