Abstract
Using traffic forecasts in making decisions about adopting the optimal network architecture and traffic management has become a necessity within the urban development projects in Romania. This paper presents a case study conducted for an area in Bucharest where has been modelled and forecasted the impact on road traffic caused by the construction of a large shopping centre and housing development, in four versions of its connection to the road network.
