Abstract
Piteşti – Vedea area are identified separately in the frame of passenger transport system by regular services of Argeş County, following a clearly defined road networks and a single road link to the main transport pole – Piteşti Municipality, so the conditions are provided for assessing the transport demand by gravitational model. By using the Visum software dedicated to transport planning, it was determined the Origin – Destination matrix for the Piteşti – Vedea area and was made the trip assignment on public transport network, resulting finally the transport flows diagram, so-called "spider diagram". The obtained results will provide design support for new public passenger transport programs by regular services in Argeş County for period 2013 – 2018, for routes in Pitesti – Vedea area. 1276_Boroiu
