Abstract
Grinding with diamond tools is one of the most used chips removing process in the processing of ceramics. The grinding working is necessary when the requirements of dimensional accuracy and of quality of the surface are not satisfied after the compacting and sintering process. The cutting forces, which are developed during the processing, will exercise a strong influence over the surface quality. Their size in influenced in its turn, by the parameters of the grinding process.
