Abstract
This article is focused on presenting innovative technology for EPDM components of sealing systems used on automobiles, named variable extrusion technology. In the beginning of the article are presented advantages that this new method involves in comparison with the classical technology. Continuing, the working principle of the entire mechanism which allows this technology will be presented so that we could have an idea. After, to strengthen the understanding of the principle, will be presented 3D models of components which were obtained by applying this innovative strategy.
