Abstract

The objective of this paper is to implement a modeling method to represent the KANBAN control method in manufacturing production systems. The model was made using IDEF0 modeling language. The manufacturing system contains 4 stages and it simulates a machining line for mass production. The Kanban cards are attached to the transport container between stages and in work. The result is clear, easy to use schematics, for a better understanding of Kanban and further analysis.
