Abstract
This article has as main objective determining minimum samples to test from a batch using nonparametric method, with no test occurred before. Within this method a certain level of confidence and value of reliability were adopted. Further, the Taguchi method is used in order to design an experiment for accelerated tests, but in a modified form due to the fact that the factors which influence the well functioning period of the electro-hydraulic valves involve different levels.
