ABSTRACT

The paper presents a dynamic model that allows us to study the automotive suspension in the nonlinear domain, with the elastic and dumping characteristics of the suspension being real. The theoretic values and those determined on the test bench are used in tabular shape in the calculation program. The dynamic model done could be used for any kind of dynamic analyze, for different load conditions of automotive, and the answer of the system could be obtained for any other point of it. So, it could be simulated the behaviour in real running conditions for different kind of roads. Also, the model could be practically extended to a very great degree of freedom numbers by attaching it to a general model of the automotive. This could permit us to study supplementary phenomenon like those connected with the body elements resonance.
