ABSTRACT

The paper describe the researches done by the authors in order to realize some parts for the diesel engine ARO DX-28 by ceramic materials. The results of the tests done on the engine test bench showed that the engine performances improve, especially by reducing the chemical pollutants emitted and the smoke grade. The paper also offers an image of the strategies future research directions that must be adopted for improving the performances of the partial ceramic coated diesel engine.
