ABSTRACT

The paper present the results obtained using the Computational Fluid Dynamic soft in order to simulate the air flow in intake air pipes for a loss power Diesel engine equipped with equipment designed to increase the gas velocity. The values of the parameters which described the air flow in the intake pipes, was compared with the experimental results obtained by laboratory tests.
