ABSTRACT
Using the aviation petrol to fueling all the Diesel engines of the ground operating military automotive represents a developing demand for the Romanian Army. This paper presents some of the aspects concerning the research activities that have been developed to introduce the unique fuel concept within the Romanian Army. Romania assumed introducing the unique fuel concept within its Forces. The tests were developed for the Saviem (797-05, 798-05) and D127 Aro engines and the research team obtained very good results. Analyzing the obtained data, some conclusions emerged. The engine’s performances diminished due to an abnormal increase of its parts wear. The wear of the injection equipment was rather acceptable.
