ABSTRACT
This paper presents some aspects regarding the Armored Personal Carrier Romanian Program realized by a scientific and technological consortium constituted by Military Technical Academy (coordinator), « Politehnica » University from Bucharest, Uzina Automecanica Moreni, ProOptica Bucharest and I.C.P.E.-C.A. Bucharest. This Program assures a performing and modern vehicle for Romanian Army. The Romanian APC ZIMBRU M1 is equipped with a Deutz engine, Allison gear box, OWS 25 R turret and more modern equipment.
