Abstract

Abstract

Due to the high level of traffic jam reached in mostly all big cities, the number of people, looking for car equipped with transmission offering the automatic gears shifting, is significantly increasing. That's the reason why the robotized transmission called MTA (Manual Transmission Automated) is experiencing a growing applications portfolio, thanks to the high efficiency, the low cost and to the performances, comparable with a common manual transmission, that's able to offer. Nevertheless, in particular driving condition, the MTA shows a significant disagreeable behaviour: the torque lack. This memory is focused on that, and shows a comparison between objective parameters, measured during the shifting manoeuvre, and driver rates; in case of disagreement an interpretation of what is expected by the driver, in the automatic mode, is also given.
