Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to present IMS performances and different integration solutions for its use in automotive power application. The first part will explain IMS structure and give the most important characteristics to take into account when choosing one IMS. Then a thermal model will be presented to check thermal performance choice regarding component reliability and thermal environments. Finally a presentation of experimental results obtained on 3 different applications will be exposed.
