Abstract

Chien Thang vehicles are the kind of light trucks domestically manufactured with a very high localization rate, in which, the cabins are totally made of the materials and by the technology of Vietnam and for the present time are calling for researches in order to assess quality. This article presents a method for simulating, calculating noise in the vehicle cabin caused by cabin shell vibration under the finite element method with the application of the Ansys software. The calculation results may be served as grounds for studies on measures to reduce noise in the cabin. The truck with a load of about 3 tons is one among the categories of vehicle for the present time that the Government is interested in so as to be invested and manufactured in Vietnam. This is one of the popular kinds of vehicle that serves transportation of bulk cargos mainly used in rural areas of Vietnam. In the course of designing, manufacturing, the question noise in the cabin constitutes one of the criteria for assessing vehicle quality. Truck cabin noise shall have influence on the driver’s using process, and combined with other criteria such as vibration, amenities, equipment, etc, that will help the driver feel more comfortable while handling, operating the vehicle.
