Abstract

Abstract: The travel speeds of the machines for the cropping of the fresh vegetables it´s usually between 15...300 m/h, but such low speeds cannot be achieved by the agricultural tractors with mechanical transmissions. From the technical point of view these low working speeds can be obtained by supplementary hydrostatic drive of the tractor wheels trough the synchron power take off (PTO) of the tractor or trough the transfer case for the driving of front axle of the four-wheels drive (4WD) tractor. In the paper it is presented the basic sketches for the development of such supplementary hydrostatic drive, whose hydrostatic motors are feed from the usual hydraulic pump of the tractor.

Keywords: agricultural tractor, low speeds, synchronous powers take off (PTO), transfer case, hydrostatic transmission
