Abstract

Abstract: The air excess coefficient has been analitically determined as function of the experimentally measured exhaust gas composition in the D-2402.000 engine using alternativelly sunflower oil based and diesel fuels. One studies if the air excess coefficient values thus calculated belong to the 1.3÷2.5 range (specific for the diesel engines).

Keywords: biodiesel, sunflower oil, diesel engines, pollution, air excess coefficient.
