Abstract
Abstract: The paper deals with theoretical and experimental aspects regarding the collection and transportation operations of the household waste generated in Harghita County. In the first step of the research activity a mathematical model for accurate evaluation of the quantities and composition structure of the generated household waste is studied. The developed mathematical model is oriented to determinate the final value of the all waste collection and manipulation expenses, which cost is minimized at last through special mathematical methods and operations. The computational operations are facilitated through the developed software toolkit presented in the paper, too.
