Abstract
Abstract: Brasov District has been a point of passage for many centuries since it is located at the crossing of important trade routes. Due to its geographic position, Brasov district grown as an important industrial and commercial centre. This fact determined the urban agglomeration, and implicit the growing of the transportation demands for the common transportation, merchandise transportation, but also the individual transportation. The studied intersection, Castanilor Street + Iuliu Maniu Street + 13 Decembrie Street it is placed in the historical centre of the city. In the past four years, this intersection suffered more changes. There were analyzed the traffic flows through the intersection, accentuating the main problems which appear due to the geometrical modifications of the intersection.
