Abstract
Abstract: In the framework of a modernization program for the public transport system, a compulsory stage is the evaluation of the existing transport system. This paper presents the results of the researches done to fulfill this task, by means of two methods: with fixed observers (placed in bus stations) and with mobile observers (placed in the buses). The results obtained allow us to determine some indicators of the transport system, useful to set up proposals for improving the public transport service.
