Abstract
Abstract: In this paper is reported a research on the gasoline spray injected in a stagnant ambient air in a high pressure chamber. The main objectives of the paper are to analysis the spray development, internal dynamics and breakup mechanism. The spray development will be computed using Fluent 6.1 software and the simulations will be compared with experiments results. It is assumes that the density in the chamber is constant and the ambient is stagnant.
