Abstract

Abstract: The dimensions and masses weight of crankshaft and parts linked with it, the crankwebs and cylinders position, the ignitoin order, the rotation, the gas pressure values, the torsional damper existence determines the torsional vibrations amplitude values. In some cases of internal engines, with cylinders in line or in V, are possible not a single ignitoin order but two or maybe more. Each situation has to be studied and computed the amplitude values of crankshaft torsional vibrations, corresponding to any possible ignition order. Using a C program, written by the authors, the torsional vibration amplitudes are computed, for two ignition orders, in the case of internal engine with 16 cylinders, disposed in V.

Keywords: internal engine, crankshaft, torsional vibrations, amplitudes, ignition order.
