Abstract

Abstract

The lubricant iron spectrum analysis is used in the condition monitoring of 6-135G diesel cylinder liner wear, and the application and theory of it are introduced. The lubricant iron spectrum analysis indicates that the components, shape and size of the wear particles in the oil will change according with the different wear level of diesel cylinder liner. Thereby, it is very effective to monitor the cylinder liner wear based on the lubricant iron spectrum analysis.
