Abstract
CRT® (Continuously Regenerating Trap) or the CCRT (Catalyzed CRT®) technology by Johnson Matthey has been widely used in retrofit market globally for PM reduction. This technology basically consists of a front oxidation catalyst and a DPF (Diesel particulate filter). Also, partial filtration of diesel particulate (PM) is now of the interest in application for near future emission regulation including retro fitting. In this paper, the feasibility of CRT® in combination with sintered metal fiber filter was studied.
