24 May 2017

FISITA, the international membership organisation for the automotive and mobility systems engineering profession, publishes an exclusive blog post by Jon Lauckner, Chief Technology Officer at General Motors and speaker at FISITA PLUS – a new one-day conference in London, UK on Thursday 13 July 2017.

In his blog Jon considers the importance of autonomous vehicle technology and how GM is committed to delivering a progressive technological contribution and leading of the mobility revolution. Jon’s commitment to driving the development of mobility systems reflects the vision of the FISITA PLUS conference – one of many reasons Jon has been invited to ‘explore the future of mobility engineering’ with FISITA this summer.

Jon Lauckner will feature in the Leadership Interview at FISITA PLUS - the centrepiece of the conference which will be hosted by former Chief Technology Officer at Ford and current Chairman of FISITA UK, Paul Mascarenas OBE.

Chris Mason, FISITA CEO, said: “We are delighted that Jon has written this important article for the FISITA blog, his insight and evidenced based technological vision deliver a compelling picture of the near future and demonstrate why we chose Jon to feature in the Leadership Interview at FISITA PLUS this summer.”

“The continued support and commitment of Jon and his General Motors colleagues to the international FISITA community is demonstration that no matter how big your organisation within the international mobility systems landscape, there is great value in being an engaged part of a broader community.”

FISITA PLUS will feature a prestigious presenter line-up from the world's leading automotive and mobility companies at the prestigious County Hall in London. The conference will be split into three sections and speakers will present under the following headings: The Mobility Future; Artificial Intelligence and Mobility Technology and Propulsion of the Future.
