The theme of the paper is about doing a mechanism to do the towing hook retractil. By this way, we can get two different things: reduce the impact of this aggressive element to the back car in a crash (because this element is very difficult to absorb the crash energy and be deformed by the bumper of the rear car) and reduce the effect of the low crashes in handling that produces the bumper of the other car breaks (for instance while the driver is parking in the city) and decreases the cost of the insurance companies. Finally, the pedestrians injuries in a crash are less than a crash with this element out of the bumper.
