Abstract

Although the RPC of MTS System Corporation is a general method used to control automotive road roughness simulative test-rig, there are some defects in it. For example, the anti-disturbance ability of RPC is very weak, and to identify system along which to acquire the serial of control values will take a lot of time. We have been studying stochastic waveform reappearance in time field since 1990. The defects of RPC can be avoided by using MIMO coupling CARMA model to describe test system and by adopting adaptive control method to control test system. The precision of stochastic waveform reappearance is high throughout the test by using this method. This paper includes model constitute, control values solution and test result.
