Abstract

In this paper, software development support tools for automotive microcomputer application are discussed. These tools has been developed with important functions necessary for the software development of the automotive microcomputer based on the control system CAD (MATLAB/SIMULINK) already on the market. The software development process for real wheel control system is introduced using the software development support tools. The real wheel steering controller model described using the SCHETCH/M will be shown. Using the developed software support tools, the software development period is efficiently reduced since times for coding the program and writing the specification document are extremely saved. The software quality is also improved because the debugging is basically unnecessary.
