A Human Model and Its Application in The Motion Simulation of a Human-Vehicle-Environment System

Abstract

Human models based on the multi -body system dynamics method are presented. Through the software ADAMS, 3-D human multi -body system models including standing pose and seated pose are established, which can be used in the field of human-machine system motion simulation. According to the actual characteristic, some joints of the human body are designed specifically. The motion simulation method on the basis of human body models is provided. As a human body is the core of a human-vehicle-environment system, the human model should be the most important part for simulation and analysis. So we can build a human-body model first, and then construct the whole system model by adding some extra restraints that represent the environments onto the human body model.
