Abstract
Autobody development system in collaborative circumstance, due to its synthetically managing and planning the whole process of deveopment under the web condition, is supported with advanced mode and efficient knowledge vault during item and structure evaluation and data transmission. It provides a easy-to-use tool for designer and engineer, which is helpful to accelerate the developing process and cut the time of new product to market. Selecting and working with the most suitable CAD foundation technology requires a realistic assessment of the strengths, weaknesses, and user demands each technology carries, as wel as a pragmatic understanding of the users own work environment. For example, a small design and manufacturing house may require the flexibility to adapt to constantly changing demands simultaneously working with 2D-only drawings, 3D cloud of points surface models, and solid models input through an industry standard data exchange file.
