Abstract
This Paper introduces a mild HEV equipped with a dual CVT (continuously variable transmission), which adopted a technology of integrated starter/generator/motor (ISG). The dynamic model of describing the starting acceleration process of the mild HEV is build up based on the control strategy, the data of bench test of the engine and torque converter, and the simulation is given. A matching design method for the HEV propulsion system is proposed and the influence of engine starting speed on the HEVs performance and powertrain torque response is analyzed, which provided the theoretical foundation for HEVs conceptual design.
