Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the working principle of magnetorheological damper, the system constitution of vehicle with semi-active suspension is discussed, the mechanical model of magnetorheological damper is established, and 4DOF dynamics models of vehicle are described. In the light of uncertainty and nonlinear and complexity of parameters for vehicle, this paper designs a tunable fuzzy logic controller using without quantification method for vehicle with semi-active suspension. Based on MATLAB6.0 , the fuzzy logic control system of vehicle for the random excitations and definite disturbances of road is simulated, and the effects time-delay and system parameter disturbance on vehicle are researched. The numerical simulation shows that the performance of a designed tunable fuzzy logic controller is effective and stable and reliable.
