Abstract
The paper presents some researches and studies in the domain of ethanol-diesel fuel blends used in diesel engines. Are presented informations concerning the demands and properties of the e-diesel fuel and the technical barriers and other research issues that must be satisfied by the fuel and the engine to work properly. The theoretical aspects were verified on the test bed to a 6 cylinder in line diesel engine under mechanical performances and emissions.
