Abstract
The reliability of the results generated by the Measurement System is an important factor for industry, since the measurement results are used for process control; statistical studies execution, and the quality of products assessment. The techniques of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) adoption can reveal the variation sources which can influence in the results generated by the Measurement System. Through MSA, it is possible to verify if the Measurement Systems present the compatible statistical characteristics required by the measured specifications. Thus, the use of MSA contributes to increase the reliability of the measurement results. This work reports the acquired experience and the results obtained by the Measurement Systems Analysis implementation in Aethra Auto Parts Industry, Ltd., and describes the employed methods of analysis and the adopted model of implementation.
