Iakovos Papadimitriou

Outlook for Electrified Vehicles and for the Role of Simulation in their Development
Iakovos Papadimitriou is the Vice President of Technology at GT, responsible for the vision, development direction and execution for the entire multi-physics GT-SUITE CAE software platform.
He has been with Gamma Technologies for over 18 years and has led the development of various projects ranging from concept-stage vehicle architecture analyses to real-time physical modeling for ECU validation. He has also been heavily involved in strategic partnership and acquisition activities that have built the current simulation ecosystem around GT-SUITE.
Iakovos holds a Dipl.-Ing. from the National Technical University of Athens, an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Univ. of California, Berkeley and a Management of Technology Certificate also from the Univ. of California, Berkeley.
