Dear colleagues,

In light of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic situation in recent months, almost everyone has been forced to step out of the as-usual life and learn a new digital and remote art of work. Organising conferences is obviously one of these new challenges.

FISITA World Congress planned in September 2020 is postponed to 2021. It opens a new opportunity for organising an event in 2020. The extensive survey among the authors indicated a high level of interest in publishing their actual achievements at a web-based event in 2020.

On behalf of the organisers, the Czech Automotive Society and FISITA, the international membership organisation for the automotive and mobility systems engineering profession, I would like to invite  you to the 1^st FISITA Web Congress, starting with a key-note session on 24 November 2020. The program of the web congress builds on peer-reviewed papers already submitted to the topics of the FISITA World Congress 2020. It is focused on the presentation of the actual research topics and recent developments in the automotive industry and mobility.

Despite the pandemic we are convinced that we can offer an interesting and fruitful exchange on different innovative research topics. Furthermore, the virtualisation enables better access of the key-note presentations and scientific papers.

We will provide more information regarding the virtual platform and the registration process as soon as possible. We look forward to meeting you virtually on 24 November at the FISITA Web Congress 2020!
