SPEAKER PROFILES & PRESENTATIONS
Over the last 20 years, Automotive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) has evolved from hands-free dialling with voice-activated command and control to GPS destination entry and driver assistance, through to full voice interaction and multi-lingual support, and on to augmented displays and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Fully autonomous systems are rapidly developing and the role of the human driver in the vehicle is shifting from full responsibility and control to providing direction and responding to suggestions from the vehicle.
By the end of the Online Conference, you will have learnt more about the interactions between human and machine in an automated car; the technology to sense, measure, control and close the loop between the human and the car; and the human-machine interfaces that have already been implemented, such as voice control, as well as some others yet to be realised.
Please register for FIEC free of charge to watch a replay of FISITA’s Automotive Human-Machine Interface Online Conference to hear the views on this topic from four experts who are actively developing automotive HMI systems for future products. The conference was be moderated by Christophe Aufrère, CTO of Faurecia, with Bryan Reimer from the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics, and an expert from next-generation car company NIO, presented their views in the first 40 minutes, followed by Omar Ben Abdelaziz from Faurecia and a short Q&A.
